ISLANDS OFF CARIA, Rhodos. Rhodes. Circa 229-205 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 13.32 g, 12 h), Ameinias, magistrate. Radiate head of Helios facing slightly to right. Rev. POΔION / AMEIN-IAΣ Rose with bud to right; to left, prow to right. Ashton 212. HGC 6, 1432. SNG Keckman 542. SNG von Aulock 2799. Beautifully toned and struck in high relief. Minor marks and with very light porosity on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
